Curated by Agnes Bourne as part of the 2020 Creative in Residence: Sustain
Join us for an exhibit opening at the Art Association Gallery and Glenwood Lobby on September 20 during the Fall Arts Festival Sunday Art Brunch Walk. Agnes brings together designers, painters, sculptures, and furniture makers represented and/or working in Jackson. Over twenty artists have been invited to celebrate unlimited possibilities in the past, present, and future of Jackson Hole.
A note from the curator: Since the first visits of artists in Jackson Hole, magical imagery emerged in honor of the natural environment to sustain its beauty and importance. Imagery, in a literary text, is an author's use of vivid and descriptive language to add depth to their work. Sensory imagery appeals to human senses to deepen the reader's understanding of the work. Powerful forms of imagery engage all of the senses. Works of art that embody the spirit of “place” make anything possible!
