Jackson Community Theater

Community theater has always played a major role in Jackson Hole. The first organized community theater was the Jackson Hole Theater Guild in 1920. Jackson Community Theater is proud to carry on this time-honored tradition of community theater here in the Hole.

Jackson Community Theater, re-established in 2002, has had several incarnations. Originally started as the Actors Co-op in 1978, it was taken over and renamed Jackson Hole Theatre Company in 1995. In 2002, it became clear that the theater community needed a dedicated community theater group with members who have a say in what productions to undertake, and directors and crew who are all volunteers from our community.

Anyone interested in getting involved with community theater are invited and encouraged to join in, either on stage or behind the scenes. You can reach out to Jill Callaway at [email protected] or 307-690-8573.
