Jackson Hole Community Band

Jackson Hole Community Band is a 40-piece ensemble founded in 1989. They rehearse nearly year-round to provide free entertainment – from old favorites by Duke Ellington, to toe tapping marches by Sousa, to classics by Mussorgsky – at many community events, public concerts, and parades.

JH Community Band is an all-volunteer band and does not hold auditions. Our members hail from backgrounds as diverse as engineering, law, real estate, and the clergy and range in age from early-teens to the eighties. Abilities range from Middle School students needing a more challenging repertoire, community members returning to their musical roots, music majors, and semi professionals. Many members have had a 15- to 20- year break before joining. It’s never too late to join!
