The outdoor event site is spacious, allowing attendees to appropriately distance themselves from other parties. Patrons are encouraged to wear masks when not actively eating or drinking. Although weather in Jackson can be unpredictable, we plan to host a great event, rain or shine. Please plan accordingly. In the unlikely event of severe weather, The Center reserves the right to cancel The Center Benefit in an abundance of caution for the safety of our patrons and staff. Should we need to cancel this fundraising event, we are unable to offer refunds and will acknowledge your ticket purchase as a donation. On behalf of everyone at The Center, we appreciate your support in making this community event a success.

The annual Center Benefit Concert will be held on Friday, August 6, 2021, featuring acclaimed Wyoming artist Jalan Crossland along with special guests. The current pandemic has provided The Center an opportunity to revisit the Annual Benefit and how the community supports its mission. This year’s event will be held outdoors for the first time in The Center Park and will be a true community celebration.

The Annual Benefit is The Center’s only fundraising event each year, has been completely reimagined given the circumstances. This new model serves two purposes - it provides a covid-conscious way to come out and enjoy a uniquely ‘Wyoming’ arts event, and is an important way for community members to support arts and culture in Jackson Hole.

Center for the Arts functions as a much-needed home for more than 20 independent arts and education nonprofits. Sustaining the 80,000 sq. ft. facility is critical to these organizations and the local arts community at large. The proceeds from this fundraiser enable us to provide a community campus, dedicated to arts programming of all varieties and keeping the arts accessible to a wide audience.”

Jalan Crossland, a renowned performer with deep ties throughout Wyoming, is a nationally acclaimed musician who will lead the event and will introduce special guests throughout the evening.

His 2017 album, “Singalongs for the Apocalypse,” won Wyoming Public Radio’s People’s Choice - Album of The Year award. In recognition of his contribution to the arts in Wyoming, he was bestowed the Governor’s Arts Award in 2013 and was named a “Wyoming Treasure” by the Wyoming Arts Council.

Former U.S. Senator Al Simpson will introduce Jalan Crossland while discussing what the arts and community mean to him and Wyoming.

The success of The Center Benefit depends on the generosity of donors. Individuals and businesses interested in becoming a Benefit Benefactor or Sponsor may contact Anne Ladd, Development Director, for more information at or 307.734.8956.
